The picnic will be held on the main pier on the stern of the Battleship IOWA this year on Saturday, July 20th, 2024 from 10:00 am –3:00 pm! Our event will be on the stern (back) of the ship separated from other visitors with 60’X 60’ tents, cool breezes, a fantastic harbor view, and it is handicap accessible. We will arrange for a catered lunch to be served for all guests.
All Iowans and individuals who have a connection with the State of Iowa are invited to attend the 123rd Iowa By The Sea Picnic. Our picnic is a
family-oriented, non-alcoholic event with an emphasis on fun and safety for all of our guests.
About the Event
OUR VENUE, THE BATTLESHIP IOWA
The Iowa By The Sea Picnic is a family event, with lots of activities, games, and fun for everyone! Iowans and individuals who have a connection with the State of Iowa will want to attend the 123rd Iowa By The Sea Picnic! This year, the picnic will be held at Pier 87 on the stern of the Battleship IOWA. The ship is a historic museum located at the Los Angeles harbor in San Pedro, California. Our picnic focuses on the fun and safety of all attendees.
